Judd Refrigeration is a locally owned family business, operating for over 50 years in the HVAC & Refrigeration Industry, renowned for high quality installation and service, delivering bespoke, efficient, cost-effective solutions for a diverse range of clients across the wider Manawatu Region. We specialise in sales and service of domestic and commercial Heat- Pump Air Conditioning and Hot Water solutions, Server Room A/C, Process Coolers, On- Farm Milk Cooling and Commercial Refrigeration Systems.

What you will do:

At Judd Refrigeration you will be an integral part of our HVAC installation team, installing custom designed heating, ventilation, hot water and air conditioning solutions for our domestic and commercial clients. You will be supported through a Judd Refrigeration Quality Standard induction programme, as we pride ourselves on delivering high quality installations, which reflects our company's pride and level of expertise in the industry.

As part of a team, you will be responsible for:

- Installing a range of HVAC solutions which include high walls, floor mounts, multi, ducted and ventilation systems.
- Installation of hot water heat pump solutions.
- Wifi installation, trouble shooting and client education.
- Commissioning and calibration of HVAC systems and their associated controls, completing quality assurance procedures and hand over to the client.
- Planned Preventative Maintenance.
- Effectively using the Simpro App for scheduled works and all on-job documentation, field notes, site/plant information and photographs.
- Preparation of the job – including reading of relevant job notes and documentation, communication with the client and other relevant parties, co-ordination of parts, materials, plant and tools prior to attending site.
- Maintaining a well organised and stocked van, including the ordering of relevant parts for installation and maintenance jobs.
- Working collaboratively and effectively as a team player - carrying out assigned jobs, sharing expertise, skills, knowledge and providing support to colleagues or leadership where needed, applying creative and innovative problem solving, and contributing in team meetings.
- Maintaining safe work practices and participating in tool box talks, site inductions, Health and Safety reporting, as required.
- Adhering to all Health and Safety procedures, including hazard identification, and site-specific protocols, the use of correct PPE & access equipment.

Here’s what we need from you:

- Minimum of 3 years HVAC installation experience in the industry
- Current clean NZ Drivers Licence
- Electrical Service Technician Practising License would be an advantage
- Site Safe Passport, EWRB and Working at Heights certification would be an advantage
- Strong work ethic, with a meticulous eye for detail and pride in your work
- Excellent communication and people skills, going the extra mile for clients and colleagues
